02-01-14 Heat @ Knicks

In their last matchup versus the Knicks on January 9th the Miami Heat lost by ten points 102-92.Dwyane Wade and Lebron James combined to score 55 points on 23-32 shooting to lead the Heat, meanwhile Chris Bosh struggled scoring only 6 points on 3 for 10 shooting from the floor.
Over the last ten games the Miami Heat have put up a modest .500 record of 5-5.The absence of Wade in 5 of the 10 games due to his constant battle with knee soreness has contributed to the poor performance of the team. The main reason behind the Miami Heat's lackluster play has been their lack of defense, especially in the month of January. In January the Heat have gave up 101.9 points on .479% which resulted in a record of 8-6, resulting in the worst month of the season for the Heat.Tonights matchup is the second game of the 4 game regular season series between these two teams.I expect a very competitive game tonight as the Knicks try to continue their hot streak to five straight victories while the Heat try to bounce back after their  home lost versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.Miami is trying to start this month of Febuary on a high note as they are looking to improve to 33-13.
