It's time for the premiere
of "Bane James" as the Heat tip-off against the struggling New York
Knicks at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL on TNT at 8:00PM. Tonight LeBron
James is suiting up; as he is returning to the Heat starting lineup, for the first
time since he broke his nose on a dunk contested by Serge Ibaka, in last
Thursday's Heat road game against the Thunder. Tonight James will be donning
a customized facemask, which will help protect his nose from further damage. He
is expected to wear the uncomfortable facemask for a few weeks, while his
injury fully heals.
He hasn't wore a mask like this for nearly 10 years; not since he broke his cheekbone, a few hours before he turned 20 years old against
the Houston Rockets.
The Miami Heat have been
great in the month of February, as they have went on to post a 8-1 record; they
look to improve to 41-14, which will put them second in the league, 2 games
behind the Pacers. The struggling Knicks come into the game with a record
of 21-36; which currently holds them in the 11th spot in the
East, with them being six games away from the 8th and final playoff
slot.
