11-03-13 Heat vs Wizards Postgame

Miami was down early in the 1st quarter 2-9 with 10:45 remaining in the period, eventually going on a 11-0 run making the score 11-9 with 8:05 left in the 1st quarter. The Heat had a fluid offense and descent defensive throughout the 1st quarter finishing the 1st period up 33-27. Miami kept their lead throughout the 2nd quarter , opening a 16 point lead 61-45 with 0:06 remaining in the half. Miami had superb ball movement and great shot selection throughout the 1st.After a late three by Wizards center Marcin Gortat, Washington pulled within 13 points 61-48 at halftime.Both the Heat and Wizards started slow in the third quarter on offense. Later in the third the Heat  continued to get great shots from their ball movement , opening an 23 point lead    
84-61 with 1:08 remaining in the quarter. Miami ended the third still up 23 87-64 .Miami took the back seat in the 4th quarter , relaxing on both offensive and defensive . The Wizards shrunked Miami's lead to 7 points 100-93 with 0:41 left in the game. Washington's comeback was cut short in the winding seconds of the 4th quarter , when the Wizards missed much needed shots and the Heat connected on three free throws down the strech to win 103-93.
