11-16-13 Heat vs Bobcats Post Game







Dwayne Wade had 4 first quarter points while Lebron James had 11 points in the quarter. Miami played good defense throughout the first period. The Heat closed out the quarter up 10 points 26 to 16. Miami's offense sparked in the second quarter due to 7 points from Michael Beasley and 9 points from Lebron. Despite their great offense Miami's defense began to weaken allowing the Bobcats to come within 4 points 45 to 41 at half time. 
During the first 5 minutes of the second half the game was very close so much so that the Bob cats were able to tied it at 47 each with 10:04 minutes to go but after 2 main free throws from Chris Andersen with 3:07 left in the 3rd quarter, the Miami heat began to stretched the lead to 7 points 60-53 eventually closing the quarter up 8 points 68 to 60. 
During the first 4 minutes of the 4th quarter Lebron James scored 4 more points bringing his total count to 30 points for the game. With 7:52 minutes to go, Lebron was replaced by Noris Cole. While Lebron sat on the bench the Miami heat had a line up consisting of Roger Mason Jr., Noris Cole, Rashard Lewis, Michael Beasley and Chris Andersen. This collection of bench players closed out the game on an 18 - 11 run to win the game 97 to 81. With this win the Miami heat improved their season record to 7-3 putting them  second place in the eastern conference behind the Indiana Pacers with an impressive record of 9-1.
