11-19-13 Heat vs Hawks Post-Game




The Miami Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks 104-88 without the play of Dwayne Wade.Wade was replaced by James Jones,who had only seen 5 minutes of play in the regular season.The game was tight throughout the opening quarter mainly fueled by 8 efficient points by Chris Bosh.
Miami getting out rebounded and Lebron James going scoreless during the 1st period contributed as well. The score was 24-25 , Heat down 1 at the end of the 1st. Lebron James first made field goal came with 7:57 left in the second quarter.Miami tied the game 38-38 with 4:10 remaining in the half.Chris Bosh finished with 16 points in the 1st half while Lebron James scored 10 2nd quarter points.The Heat went into halftime up three points 48-45. Mario Chalmers went on a 39 second-spurt from 5:45 to 5:06g scoring 9 points after a  & 1 layup and burying back to back threes. Lebron James finished the third quarter with a total of 13 points while Chris Bosh finished the quarter with a game total of 19 points, on 8-9 shooting. A 15-2 run in the third quarter gave the Miami Heat all the room they needed to rest their starters in the 4th quarter of the opening game of their back to back.The Heat bench whom scored 45 points in the game helped close out the game for Miami , earning the 104-88 victory. Lebron had a subpar performance during last night game when he registered a season-low of 13 points. Miami improved to 8-3 while the Hawks went to 6-5.
